Does anyone know if the GMPP catback would work on an Ion Sedan?

Well, I will tell you this...you have to take the GMPP exhaust to a shot anyway to reweld the hangers since they are different, so I am sure they could just redo the flange to the downpipe, cause that is the only thing would keep it from working...

Thanks for the responses. I installed the GMPP catback on my Cobalt and my friend and I were wondering if my stock exhaust would work his Dad's 2.2 Ion Sedan. I cut it so it would need to be welded anyways.

Well, you would have to weld a new flange where it installed onto the down pipe I believe. Certain years may be exempt from that. I know ours is a 2 bolt and my old 2004 Ion 1 2.2L was a three bolt. Then the hangers would have to be changed, and then it would be a little short. But anything is possible!

Depends on what you consider performance...
Cobalt-Addiction has one, Intense, ZZP all have headers. You can even rig a Pacesetter header up, but needs to be welded. The three FullThrottle mentioned are the best.

I have the SMS one on the way. I cannot freakin' wait!
