I have this part on my 06 SS/SC and absolutely love it! And it looks great too. You will love it. I also picked up better mileage on the highway as well. And my acceleration has improved greatly, especially from a 50 plus roll. I pull really hard on a friend with really similar mods.

How long have you had it for? I'm kinda intrigued by this, but wondering how durable it is. I would think that if the crank pulleys could be made out of aluminum they would have been from the factory. It's NOT hard to damage the outside of anodized aluminum, contrary to what they say. (I've owned several paintball guns, and that shit was easy to scratch up last I remember)

Also, where does this mount up / how hard is it to install? I'm not even sure which pulley they're talking about.

it replaces the crank pulley, the big pulley on the bottom of the motor

I have had it for about three weeks I think, and also it has only been on the car for a few days. I got the red one, don't know why but I thought it would be kinda cool lol usually I keep things much more conservative. And I was careful when I installed mine so it didn't get too many dings. Going with its durability, I think it will be fine, but still have much more time to experiment with this thought. Once it is on, I don't see it having any problems staying there.

I am glad that you guys are interested. Definately hit up MRZ for this quality part. Unfortunately I am unable to get pics of it or the damage of my trans up this week because school starts back up and I am working as many hours as possible up until then to pay for my recent screw up. Hopefully I can get another trans swapped in this upcoming weekend, as long as the rain lets up, and my friend can come over and let me use his camera to put some nice visual aids up. (As well as my damage lol)

I think I will purchase one of these next weekend, seems like it would free up a little zip in the rl.

Yo Burnt, if you get a chance get a hold of me on AIM. I'm kinda curious who does your trans work and how much they're charging.

I sent Nate @ smoothflow the link and asked if he had any plans to make something comparable. It's a cool product, but I can't justify ~$200 for a pulley when Nate could probably turn one out for ~$100.
