Then on top of that 200 odd dollar gauge, you also have to buy the sensor module and remote for $190. The Competition Package gauge is an Autometer. I've got a pic of it saved, I'll post it later.

If you look at the pic of the gauge back there again, on the sides of the gauge are rows of LEDs. The LEDs are like a staging tree, they go from green, to yellow, to red, like a complicated shift light. I could be wrong on any of the specifcs there, but that's the jist of it. Assuming that the LEDs aren't as slow as the standard tach, it's neat, at the very least. The fact that it's high enough, and hopefully bright enough, to see out of the corner/bottom of your eyes, could be pretty useful.

NO THE # YOU POSTED IS JUST FOR THE GAUGE. WHAT I DID IS CALL THE PARTS DEPARTMENT AND ASK THEM TO LOOK AT THE STEERING COLUMN ON A 05 QC AND THE PICTURE OF THE COVER CAME UP AND ASKED FOR A PART # IT IS CALLED A GAUGE ASSEMBLY. THE PART # YOU LISTED IS JUST CALLED A GAUGE. NOT SURE BUT IT IS ON IT'S WAY AND I WILL POST WHEN I GET IT THANKS

Your right Dr. John, another Saturn dealer told me it was just a guage, but it looks like it is a replacement panel, however, the number you gave was superceded with mine. Also 15781191 is for Canadian Redlines, I dunno what the difference would be... Both our numbers are for the same part, mine is just a newer version exact same price.

I'm wondering the same. If they are available now, that's awesome.

Hey a Red Line in Spring Hill, cool. I've yet to see any there.

It's not currently in my possession. My Dad works at the Saturn plant and brought it home to show me. This one is actually a pre-production unit that had a problem with one of the LEDs being brighter than all the others. My Dad is trying to come up with some factory wiring so we can see if I can make it work in my car.
