throttle position 84%???

hey so my interceptors read that my throttle pos is only 84%.. is there anyway to make that go 100% id image a bit more air flow if that could b done..

Interceptors always read incorrectly. Though, they usually show 88% if I recall. It has something to do w/ the OBDII signal that they read vs. the one our car uses.

On some cars, the interceptor goes to 100%.

The issue is that the interceptor reads the SAE Throttle Position, which is more of a universal diagnostic. If sometimes happens with HPTuners too. If you switch it to Electronic Throttle Position, which is specific to these generation of GM PCM's it will read 0-100. The Interceptor is not set up to read that.

What has already been stated is correct. The reading on the interceptor and HP Tuners is based on the full range of the sensor. The PCM does a sweep test when you first start up and when you shutdown the car. You can hear it flip full open then closed, kind of a clunking noise. The PCM reads the min and max values with the plate fully open and closed, and adjusts the readings accordingly. So yeah...
