for some reason people have said that they both might be the same except for the knob. and the fact that the hurst doesnt retain the locking reverse. but then i read that someone figured out how to keep the locking reverse on the hurst....

I thought the Hurst didn't come with the mount bushings?

Yeah, if there's no bushings, Hurst FTL, if there is... it's a coin flip.

ive installed both and now used both personally the hurst LOOKS better but the b&m wins. feels smoother less notchy.. comes w/ bushings, and imo throw wise was null between the 2.. basically the same.. put it this way i went through the trouble to put the b&m BACK in after the hurst one

I personally love my B&M, I put it in about 2 weeks ago, and I love that damn thing. Definately shorter shifting.
