brakes done already?

brakes done already? I hear squeaks when i stop and a metal sound like the rotors a fuc*ed wtf only 2599 miles on car dont get me wrong ive hit 130 before but my cavy hit 120 and i could stop on a dime and be fine for months to come! I dont get it, if it ends up being the rotors will they fix em for free because the car hasnt been with me more than 2 months! i love my baby and i cant look at girls with squeaky brakes makes me look stupid!

Take it back to the dealer. I have seen alot of people on this forum. Say that their brakes went bad less than 5,000 miles. Mine did as well but I didn't have the time to take it in so now I will just have to pay for them.

I've had squeaky breaks before but that only happens to me when I'm in stop and go traffic and the breaks get really hot. Other than that I have no problems at all.

The sound has been reported by a bunch of people on here, and the more major issue of brake gauging has also been reported. I read somewhere on here within a recent post that the guaging issue has been noted by dealers and is sorta a recall issue. Basically, if you were to bring it in with this problem, they would fix it no questions.

my dealer replaced mine last week. I had 8700 miles on the car, they replaced the pads and rotors in the front as a " favor " to me. Next time they wont ofcourse, but I got a free brake job! The first two times the service guys told me they cant do it. I yelled at thier manager and he said he'll do it. He kept his word and now I have new brakes.
