Stage2 vs another package -

http://www.neweraperformanceparts.com/default.asp?S=503&A=E&PKV=2pkgcss|0

Anyone have any thoughts on this package? Seems like a decent amount of upgrade for the money vs stage2. They will tune it with hptuners for an additional $300

if you want to go the custom route there is more power to be made for that type of money

That's why it costs so much. Doesn't seem all that bad for 1400 when you look at everything that's included.

That site looks like it has some good deals. Does anybody know anything about the Spec clutches on there? I feel the need to upgrade this summer

Well what I did is buy a 3 inch pulley for $35 used 42Lb injectors for $90 shipped and got an hp tune from fullthrottle for $120. So for $245.00 I could not be happier. My 2 cents.

If you look under cobalt project car they have a update. The car made 271hp and 245 tq when they installed the CTI header. Its a nice package but for most looking at buying something like this they dont have HPT so I think they should include a base tune at least but just my opinion.

I really wasn't planning on going all out just yet. Only 6k miles on the car and have had a few issues already so I don't know that I want to give my warranty up. It does seems like a good deal. I'll talk to them more in person next week. Taking it in to have them give me a baseline on Monday. 3 pulls for $100. i'll take if from there I guess. If my car makes shitty comparative whp to what others are seeing, I might not do anything with it. I definitely wasn't planning on any exhaust work until closer to the end of warranty.

3 pulls for $100...that seems a bit steep. With it being a DynoJet, you may not build full boost either. There's my two pennies. Oh. Two more: just spend the money on the GMPP Stage II if you're concerned about warranty issues. I've only got the Stage II, and I couldn't be happier. I'm fully street legal, and kicking major ass around these parts.
