Is there an alternative to Dexcool?

Is anyone out there running something other than dexcool in the heat exchangers? I'm going to be making up some brackets this weekend for the cobra h/e and maybe hooking it up completely. Would any of you guys recommend something else to run?

distilled water...the importance is on the distilled part. tap water rusts your H/E, distilled water does not... we ran 50-50 distilled water to dex-cool in blurry redline's H/E and we noticed an instant difference. IAT2 temps would drop a LOT faster (we added watter wetter also...)

Sure is and smart as hell on GM's part.

GM Corporate guy 1: Hey, lets make our own coolant and void the warranty if anyone uses anything else!

GM CG2: Excellent! And if anyone does use anything else it'll fuck up the car too.

GM CG3: HAHA, hows $21 a gallon sound???

GM CG 1/2/3: HAHAHAHAHAHA!
