Custom Borla exhaust

I finally got my first real performance mod for the redline. I cut out the 2.25 shitty piping and replaced it with 2.5 stainless steel. Scrapped the beast of a can muffler for a borla turbo and then had the stock tip welded back on. I ordered the borla turbo muffler from: http://www.superexhaust.com/cgi-bin/start?r=store& (it was pretty cheap.) All the work was done at mufflerman in kenmore,NY.. only took 45 mins and i didn't even have an appointment..(guys are no joke and they do quality work)
Now i know why everyone with the 3" systems is either selling them or adding a million resenators to quiet it down because this is only 2.5 and it is loud!! really deep borla tone.. the sound is kick ass, ill try to make some videos even though they wont do it justice but just take my word for it.. it sounds awesome and i do notice a power gain up top and down low, mid range still seems the same.. so now the power band is nice and even.. all fast..
final cost was a little bit more then i wanted to spend but living in Newyork i had to get the stainless.. borla turbo muffler, 2.5 stainless steel piping, and all new stainless hangers and mounting hardware = 350 installed.

I considered the Borla too, but it was gonna be a long time to get it thru the guys I always order my stuff from.....plus it was more money than my Magnaflow muffler & everyone seemed to recommend Magnaflow for the LSJ

I'm sure it sounds good though!!

man it sounds soo sweet, i didnt wanna stop driving this morning.. everything seems so much smoother too while driving.. maybe its just easier to match the revs that you can hear it who knows, but i think it was an awesome investment so far. next is headers and downpipe..

I'm runnin 2 resonaitors with my Borla. Love the way it sounds and would have not bought anything else. Borla FTW!! The 2nd resonaitor will do wonders.

you running 2.5 also?? you added a resonator after the stock resonator, or you just deleted the stock one and put in 2 aftermarket??

2.5 all the way back. I completely had the exhaust refabbed when I got my custom tune. They chopped out all the piping and salvaged what they could. I'm running 2 back to back Moroso spiral resonaitors directly after the bolt up on the dp. I also had the rear section straighten out with new piping to help with flow to the muffler.

me and keyser are running the same setup, cept i only have one resonator, and my piping is all 3"... i love the sound of the borla turbo muffler.
