Much of what is being discussed in that article appears to be based on a naturally aspirated engine.There is of course a big difference in the reversionary effects on combustion and charge stratification in a boosted engine. The best way to take advantage is with variable valve timing of course. I've been working with the LNF a lot of late. It's amazing electronically messing with various cam timing elements such as overlap and centerline and it's effect on direct injecting into the homogeneous charge. Now I want to put an LE5 VVT head on an LSJ...
