Worth Running 3.25" on S2 tune?

right now i have a 2.9"er along with my stage 2 tune on my car. it's my daily driver, all highway, and i'm not really sure if it would be safe to put a bigger pulley on for my daily communte? i have 3.25" and 3" sfph rigns that i could swap out. would i see an imporvement in gas mileage if this is safe?

i kinda just want my car to last, and not run the 2.9" all the time if i dont have to. thanks in advance

correct, just for daily driving, and to be easier on my motor. i get on it every once in a while and i dont want to be boosting an instant 16lbs every time if i dont have to

remember this is just for driving to school, when i go to the track it's back down

yeah it'll be easier to get better gas milage, just have to try and stay out of boost w/ pretty much any pulley. I have a 3.15ring sitting in my room if i ever decide to step it down for whatever reason but i can't bring myself to do it yet.

yep it's tough. but it will be safe? (i dont see how it wouldnt be)

would you run the risk of running too rich? the stage 2 pulley is 3.1, so if you went bigger than that, you wouldn't be boosting when the tune thinks you are...or would the computer compensate?

btw, joe, what kind of mileage are you getting anyway?

well it's already at like 25-27mpg for the driving i do on average a week, but more couldnt hurt. i get about 275 miles before a refill

The S2 tune is the same as the S1 tune. You'd be fine running the stock 3.35" pulley if you wanted to. As long as you keep the 42.5 injectors in.

It shouldn't hurt the car one bit. Say you only have stg1, you'd still be running the same inj/tune with out a pulley as you would in stg2w/ a pulley. Once the computer relearns a couple things it will run fine.
