Ecotec Performace Cams

Saw this on Create Enegine Depot but not sure what they mean "They physically fit the 2.0L LSJ head, but the vacuum pump / cam sensor will not work in a stock engine." does that mean to have the sensor work we need to mod somthing else? If so what else to do need?

too much work.... it can be done but it would be easier to get a set of blkank LSJ cams or even some with the stock LSJ profile on them and grind them to the specs you want.

Thats the thing, I have no idea what specs I would want or even how to figure them out. I just figured that if I could easily make the GMPP ones work I would.

Thanks for the bump. So if I am reading that right I can just get the GMPP Blanks and have them ground to the CompCams links by WHOP but how much is a "bit" that he suggest backing down for our blown application? 2-3°?

Edit:

Or maybe go with Duration @ .050*, Valve Lift
INTAKE 193*, 409 EXHAUST 197*, 402 that JBP does on there stage 1 cams for the 2.0

GMPP blanks are for the 2.2. Cam sensor will not fit. Only way to get LSJ cam blanks is either pay ~800 ish for Billet Blank from JBP (Please don't take me seriously, that shouldn't even be an option).

Or get stock LSJ cams re-ground. Personally I would just go with the 272 cams. Proven to work, none have hit the dyno or track yet, but I am sure they will give results.

I agree and if he decides to go that route myself and a few others can help him with that too.

they're Mitsu EVO cam specs but I have a source that can grind the 280 and 272 cam specs on the LSJ cams. they've prooven to work very well on our cars.
