Stage 3 Pulley???

Did a quick search & it seems that everyone is running a 2.9" or 2.85" pulley with the Stage 2.

I'm getting the Stage 2 (hopefully installed this week) & I'm thinking of going to a smaller pulley right away.

Should I get a Stage 3 pulley from shortbus???...I think it's 3" & should fit the GM hub (obviously)

or

I want it to fit the GM hub....so should I just have a 2.9" made to fit the GM hub from a guy on here??? (I think he's the only one that offers them for the GM hub )

Keep in mind, that this is my daily driver & I just want a little bit more boost out of it

Forgive my newbie questions....I didn't wanna get into engine mods, but now it looks like I am

iirc, there is somewhere where you can get a disguised 2.9" pulley that looks like the stage 2 one for the gm hub. but i've had the 3" and 2.9" on my car, and with the 2.9" it is noticible from the stage 2 size, and a little even from the 3". go with the 2.9 IMHO. also i know ZZP has ones that fit the gm hub, but aren't disguised and just say zzp on them

I was referring to "nate" (I think?)......seems like everyone has his pullies???

correct me if I'm wrong

Stage 3 pulley is a waste then??

2.9" is safe, right???....like I'm not getting it tuned or HP'd or anything after the Stage 2 flash....just the stage 2 flash & then a smaller pulley

you should be fine. if you have a way to check IDC after the pulley swap DO SO. the stage 3 pulley is a 2.9.. go with nates 2.9 as it's disguised as the regular stage 2 pulley and WILL fit the gm hub

i knew you meant nate's, and yes a lot of people have his 2.85 and are very pleased. it just brings you to that unprovable state of maxing out your injectors, which i hope this thread doesnt turn into, but i personally feel very safe with a 2.9" daily driver, thats why i didnt buy any smaller, though i should switch for better gas mileage. whats another .05" down to the 2.85" ya know? could be bad, could be good. i'll let you decide.
