Q: What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
A: First, you screw. Then, you bolt.

So would any air to water H/E work? or is his the most prefered because we know it would fit?

Any would work but the problem is getting it mounted in a good location. Everyone uses this cause it is the easiest to mount in the front bumper for best performance.
