wow so you're basically paying 3K for a supercharger and you still need the injectors and tune or atleast the tune file if you have HP tuners on top of that.
makes pretty decent #'s but damn thats not cost effective at all...what if turbos were 3K a piece.

Yeah but you have to go out and piece together your own kit when you go turbo and not many people want to do that , some would rather just buy everything in one and put it on in a day and be done with it.

I understand they've got adapter plates and other misc. items to allow you to connect it to a bone stock motor but in reality all you really are getting is a supercharger.
I could understand the price for a car that is not already supercharged from the factory but for one that is the cost should be like half that IMO.
i know of this company its like a 4 hr drive away and a bunch of my friends know him personally. i think its pretty worth it, most guys see what? 205-220whp or so stock? throw on a intake maybe 5whp.. if that, so say on average 220whp w/intake he has 280whp with just a swap of a supercharger brand spanking new, probally better cooling, design, etc 3000bux for an extra 60whp is pretty good an then consider you can throw on a 2.6pully, HE, colder plugs, header/downpipe, exhaust, 60lbs injectors a good tune, and could probally see close to 350-380whp and still have the uber sexy s/c whine.

The blower alone is $1500 from Lysholm in sweden. The reason Herrop will be able to sell the TVS for cheaper is that they are a part of Eaton. Thus, they will get the rotors for cheaper and make their own housings. Rebel has no choice in their kit and have to pay the $1500 in cost just for the blower. Hence the price of their kit.
We'll see when all is done which one belts out more ponies. Either way, they are both still viable power options.

If you guys want I can post my mods and various dynos from my intake only dyno up to and of the twinscrew. However, if you want me to do this I don't want any bitching and moaning about my numbers and I would like everyone to read the post thoroughly. I have done lots of explanations and all I ever get is crap for it because most people don't understand the differences in dynos types and other variables. I have put a lot of money, time, effort, and R&D into this kit as I was a major test bed for it. I am also the reason why it is under current revision for some things I found to be unsatisfactory from a customers standpoint. Rebel and I want it to be perfect and run great without any drawbacks before it's released to the masses, thus it's taking so long.
Just let me know and I will do so, but if the thread gets out of hand I won't post anymore about it.

i like the taste of that cookie.
you can't throw a 2.6pulley on the twinscrew. They are selling it with the smallest pulley you can go with already on there. If you go any smaller you will be over spinning the blower. You also have to already have 60lb injectors and a good tune in order to even run that blower, so that's not an add on, that's required. The only thing you could add to your car, external of the motor, would be some cooling mods and exhaust. So really you aren't far from being maxed with the twinscrew once you bolt it on.
TVS FTW. Twinscrew costs more and has less room to play. The TVS will make GOBS more power even after you first bolt it on with the pulley that it comes with.
