*OPINIONS* Pulley downgrade from infamous 2.5!!

....yea its that time again, once again the 2.5 is scaring me, guess its cuz I just had the tranny rebuilt and I hit the old 50,000mi. mark on the odometer today and every hiccup throughout the rpms(if any) scares me...

I was on a mail order tune for a minute then I had my main o2 sensor go bad, thought it was the cat clogged, switched to a catless downpipe, then realized half my o2 sensor was broke so I replaced the o2 sensor n all...reset the computer(I think; let it sit overnight w/the negative terminal d/c)...the car still runs like crap...not as bad as it did when the o2 sensor broke but the car is still running rich...I thought goin to a catless downpipe would lean it out more if anything??

...Of course I threw off the mail order tune I guess and getting a REAL tune soon!! So now im stuck, its either buy the supporting mods to run the 2.5(meth, dual pass endplate, big h/e etc. etc.) or go back to a bigger pulley and add a nice h/e...the problem is I think Im gonna miss that torque of this 2.5!! Cant I just keep it and shift at 6,000rpms??? lol....IDK, im still tryna enjoy 260whp too!! but i dont wanna kill this damn s/c which is bound to happen w/this pulley or my motor

I mean I already got 60s in place n all, which pulley should I go with?? Id rather spend the money on the new TVS unit before buying the supporting mods to keep this 2.5(though either way, its looking like supporting mods are a must), but I need something to hold me off for the spring break ricers!! and I really did wanna hit 12's w/it....damn

What yall think??

swapp that 2.5 to a 2.7 and just get a heat exchanger and a tune since you have 60's already. The tvs supercharger is not ment to just bolt on to a stock engine thats why all the testers have there engines fully built. so if you go tvs you will need to build your engine too or get pistons......

I think once you get smaller than like a 2.7 you're chasing your tail, because the excessive heat will take away the extra power you gain.
