exhaust questions?

I need help with making my new exhaust quieter. I got a full 3 inch exhaust right out of the cat. It has a universal magnaflow on. It is loud and sounds awesome only my mom is shitting a brick because its real loud and i dont have my own insurance and live in the safest town in America. I took off the resonator and do not want to put it back on. Would a dual 3 exhaust be quieter or do you guys know a muffler that sounds real deep that would work. Its real ricey up high now but i dont mind it so much. I would like to go dual if it will quiet it down and it looks badass.

You will NEED the resonator if you want good sound... as far as I've heard...

Just put a nice 3" resonator on it. It will deepen the tone and quiet it a bit.
