Question Question on setup and plugs...

Alright I have a 2.8 pulley, stage 2, soon to be jbperformance header. 2.5" catless dp with the over axel to a magnaflow muffler. motor mounts, kn drop in and running a 75 shot zex wet shot. I just put in the iridium 3 stages colder. I don't know if I like them yet though or not. Seemed a little lacking when I sprayed. I am looking in the brisk plugs turbo version. They are like 20 bucks a piece and am wondering if they would be a good match. Anyone with experience with these or suggestions outside of the standard ngk's which need to be changed every 5-10 k miles? Any help would be great. Thank you

Oh and ive already had the zex plugs and blew up plug #4 on a backfire so they definetely arent the route.

I don't know about the nitrous but I have a semi-similar setup running 2 stage 2 step colder iridium (ngk) and everything seems good. I think you're problem is the nitrous but I could be wrong...you may want to bump up to the stage 3 pcm because it's programmed for it (only a 50 shot though) while the stage 2 is not.

With the brisk plugs, you can gap them because they're not iridium (they're silver from what I understand which is supposed to be one of the best conductors of electricity) so if it's sluggish you can re-gap but again I'm thinking that you should be running 2 step colder plugs (BGK8re) plugs because you still are running a 2.8 pulley even with nitrous. The 2 steps are supposed to be good up to 2.6" pulleys.

Iridiums

Yeah I think its just the weather here that is making my car seem a bit sluggish at times, im in south Florida, so its kind of hard to determine how well ur car is running at times because of the weather. I took it out last night and sprayed a few times and it really moved, so Im guessing the iridiums are alright. =)

stick with the ngk's from auto zone 1 step colder..if thye foul jsut replace them..no point of spending that much money on sprak plugs that will still foul out :/
