AEM short ram intake

I finally had a chance to test my new AEM SRI after putting it on and then getting the flu. Not much of a power increase, but I can definately feel it when gas it. But lets just say the Honda Accord wasn't very happy with me when it was all over. It was fun, but what a joke

Everyone under-estimates the amount of noise the blower cranks out till you uncork that sucker... it still makes me giggle when I get on it in traffic. Reminds me of a VERY angry RC car.

speaking of blower noise, anyone else read the article in car and driver about the XLR-V? it seems like GM is using a few of the ideas of ours cars on the caddy. SC with Laminova intercoolers being one. and they intentionally designed everything to make close to zero SC whine. the one weird thing was the Corvette Z51 brake "upgrade" that actually gave longer braking distances. anyone know what model Eaton they are using on the Northstar? m90 or m112?

I'd open the intake up on a Caddy just because it would be unbelievably funny..

also the john cooper works package makes the mini sound so awesome. go to their website and watch the videos and sound clips. perfect exhaust mixed with insane SC whine. 210 hp with 800-900 less lbs and bmw tuned suspension must be fun as hell.

i hope gm makes a SC'ed version of every car in their line up, then makes a video of them all racing in a row at bonneville salt flats, all whining like crazy.
