Thumbs up clutch questions?

I want to get a stage 2/3 clutch and a light weight flywheel well my question is how much would the dealer charge to install this? I know alot of you will say get it installed somewere else it is cheaper or even do it yourself well i dont trust most transmission shops ask yrethgaurd! I trust my dealership because the tech has a RL also i just wanna make sure it is dont right the 1st time is there wny thign else i need to buy before i do this like bearing and such?

Not cheap... When I first inquired about adding the LSD, they told me that it usually runs almost $700 to drop the tranny, pull it apart, and put it back in. I would have to think the clutch job is similar. I might be wrong, but that's how I recall it.

Ask Aeain... I think his clutch cost was close to $1k....

My GM dealer told me its a 6.5 hour job so you can just take that times their hourly labor charge. From what i can tell we need to purchase the clutch actuator to get the bearings we need, the whole unit is $110 or about $95 if you are good with the parts department. I'm still waiting and searching to verify that this part is needed and is the correct part I will make sure i notify everyone.

thnx bro i dont mind payign a 1000 bucks because im getting it done by someone with some type of a warrenty


but can i feather 1st with stage 3?

I checked out the labor cost about a month ago and my dealership told me $892.50 just for the labor.

I talked to my dealer and they offered me $52/hour for labor costs so that comes ouut to $350 @ 6.5 hours, i would talk to them some more and see what they can do for you.

venom where do you live? I have to clutches to do but if your close I will install it for you. I work mostly for beer, just ask spooner.lol I live in Indiana close to Chicago.
