True Flow vs K&N

I just ordered my K&N CIA. But just the intake. Since my car unfortunately sees alot of dirt, I've decided to go with the True Flow filter because it blocks more fine dust. The K&N is said to allow more air and more horsepower. But will 2 or 3 hp really make the difference when the life of your engine counts on it? Anyone here anything good or bad about either company? Experiences with either company? Trying to make a final decision.
