Anyone Recieve Their B&M Short Shifter Yet?

Just curious if anyone has recieved theirs yet, if you have can you take a pic of it and post it up. The pic doesn't have to be installed in the car. Just want to see how it looks. Thanks

Same here. I talked with someone at Gravana last week and they were expecting to ship out last Friday the 15th. I haven't received any ship notification so I'm guessing they'll go out Monday, hopefully.

The kit comes with a new shift lever, and the pieces to hook it up,as well as four aluminum bushings that replace the rubber ones that mount the thing to the floor. I played with the one in the GM Sema car (dark green coupe).

Its pretty much BS to call it a "short shifter" though. It does change the area the shifter travels from stock (feels like it moves 1st, 3rd, and 5th closer to the radio, 2nd and 4th come along for the ride). It only lowers the shift throws 3-4mm, which I defy anyone to be able to notice the difference. I measured 101mm for the stock throws on my Ion, and 102 on the cobalt (build variation I would guess as they are the same shifter, cables routings, and trans - different knob material), and 98mm on the B&M which is what the GM guys at the show also said it was (they showed me how GM measures it when they do a quick and dirty measurement which was cool).

It looks nice and has a removable knob though, so its still a good add, just wanted to make sure all know what they are getting. I personally like the removable knob (threaded on), cause I can run whatever I want and it won't come off in my hand like the stock one has done to some people.

We're also hoping this one can take some abuse, since the stocker has some reliability questions...
