ok I know nothing about flywheels n such. I have a general idea about the operations of a clutch.

What is a lighter flywheel gonna do for me?

gonna be less weight for the car. it only brings ya down a couple lbs but from what i hear it is supposed to make it ledd work for the car in general b/c its lighter but maybe spooner or wop or gg or someone can tell a better tell.

Thumbs up

a light weight flywheel basically gives you faster acceleration and better throttle response.

here is an example: A car is spinning a 100 pound rim compared to it spinning a 20 ppound rim! less weight means it will move more freely and faster.

Im getting a stage 3 clutch and flywheel once they get the F/W on there site ill see if we can get a group buy together

spooner or Zfactor could explain a flywheel better than me!

what would be the point of getting the ones on ebay. Unless you need to replace them.

Thumbs up

i saw that too that is oem stuff which means it will wear out again!
stage 3 clutch wont wear for a long time!(2-8 years) unless you are the worst shifter in the world. you can launch from 4 grand and not have to stress anything (except mabe axles )but there is no need to lunch from 4 grand anyway lol. upgrade your axles and your on you way to a very solid street/drag car

(dont get me wrong i was gonna buy those clutch peices too but i changed my mind once i made a plan on were im going with my car)

alredline04 is right there would be no point for that cus you can burn that clutch easily stock upgrade to a different stronger material and witha stronger clamping load

yeah but since those are "stock" (right?) it wouldnt be worth it if we wanted to so with a lighter flywheel and a stronger cluch. we'd be looking at about $600 for the cluch and flywheel??
