dyno today

made 200 hp and 188 ft/lbs of tq. Stock was 188hp and 179 ft/lbs. There is a decent gain through the whole rpm range. Its about what I expected seeing as I really haven't gotten any quicker at the track. I think it might need exhaust mods to breathe better. Or just a bigger SC or a turbo or fuck it I will just by an SRt-4

with water injection?

i'm going to have to agree that exhaust is where we really need an improvement. i think the TOG headers with a catback will make all the difference...

How many PSI did the 3.25 get you? I read that some are running the 3 with no ECU problems... that sound right?

He was running a 2.8 pulley at the track and boosting 18 psi - I seen it with my own eyes!!! So I would imagine that's what he'd be running on the dyno as well. I am guessing that the exhaust is the problem - your comment about the 10 pounds of potatoes in a 5 pound bag was a pretty reasonable ascertation of the situation.

only 12 horses with the 2.8?! It had to of been the 3.25 on the dyno. I beleive he had belt slip issues with the 2.8, also.

I remember being told at least 20 whp will be gained after w/a inj. PLus the smaller pulley? That seems like a very little gain for the money put into it. What was the correction on the dyno? I'm hoping zero.
