RL Motor on eBay

Didn't know if this was the right section or not, but depending on what comes out of it, it might be. I know some people has seen a motor online before and sad they missed the opportunity at possibly gettin one to R&D on (WOP and others as far as I remember). So, there is another one up online and I htought I would just alert those few of the auction.

I saw this earlier tonight. Would be a good engine to pick up for somebody with a SC2. I wonder how hard it would be to swap it. I used to have a 97 SC2 and it was not a bad car at all. Plus it was all black and looked very clean.

I'm watching it too. I would like to buy it for my own projects, like direct port nitrous. I'm not about to pull my intake manifold and start drilling it up.

I have a buddy that was bidding on it... He builds custom sandrails and wants to try it. Couppled with a bullet proof 4 speed mendola trans... it should eat up the dunes.

That's a lot of hoses. What the hell happened to that clutch?! Or more specifically the pressure plate.

It would be a pain in the ass to put in a s series. You would need really good fabication skills becuase nothing is the same between the s series and ions.

That's a good deal. I'd like to get that engine and put it in the ion sedan that needs a front clip that's for sale by my house.
