Talking Upgraded Fuel System

Does anyone know where we can get a bigger fuel pump for the RL? Or, does anyone know how much horsepower our current fuel pumps will handle? I'm getting ready to install a 3" pulley and I'm already running a 75 shot of nitrous(wet) and I don't want to max out the fuel system.

I think I'm real close to that 300 hp number(maybe even over it ).

Can you ever go too fast?

I don't think your engine in it's current configuration will handle a larger flow of fuel. Flow, if I'm not mistaken, and some of the techi's can correct me if I am, is regulated proportionally to air, within set parameter's of your ECM. Do you have a piggy back on your ECM that will allow you to make tuning adjustments for your add on's? I'm also wondering where you are coming up with 300 hp. You added nitrous, but what are your track times. I don't see you getting a 95 hp gain with a 75 shot of nitrous. Give us the facts man.....

I think your injectors will run out before the pump. Not totally sure what they are. Something in the low 40lb range we have guessed...

Well dude this might not help much but at www.gravanatuning.com they have a fuel pump booster to boost the power of our pumps and allow you to control the fuel flow to an extent. Send them an email and ask if it'll help you at all.

If you up the fuel pressure with a BAP the injectors will flow more. How much, well that's to be determined on these cars

Would the oversize injectors help, or would the computer limit performance with them?

The computer wouldn't understand them. It's made for the current injectors. You'd have to piggyback.
