AEM intake warning

Just thought I'd post this as a warning to anyone out there that may have the AEM short ram intake on their redlines. I've had mine for alittle over a month now and the cone filter has fallen off of the tubing twice now. It may have been alittle loose the first time, but I know I tightened the shit out of it the second, and it still managed to fall off. The car kind of hesitates once the filter falls off, so I managed to catch it both times right away, thank god. Tomorrow I'm going to put some screws through the filter and the air box lid to hold it in place. To the people who do have it though, you might want to keep an eye on it.

Just add some sealant around it....that will bond it as well as using the clamp....won't come off I wouldn't think.

Somehow, as a movie guy, I'd have to say yours is about the same. I L-O-V-E that movie, it's among my favorites of all time.
