Depends on where you open the exhaust. I have a cut off valve right before the muffler and it will not throw any codes. If you put it before the cat it will, though. Just make sure you are behind the rear O2 sensor or you will need to get an O2 simulator installed.

^^^ exactly

if you're too close to the secondary o2, you'll get too much reversion over the sensor and it will throw a code and throw it in limp mode, ask Tek lol

but if say you upgraded the piping and then had it side exit before the full S curve, that would work fine for you. Just would be LOUD.

my suggestion is to do it right after the resignator just to be safe. if not murray makes an o2 simulator that basically replaces the the bank 2 O2simulator. itll trick the computer to reading a as if the cat would still be there.

That is exactly how mine is set up. I have a side pipe that comes out right by the rear driver suicide door, cut at a 45 degree angle and swept back with the lower trim. Hit the switch and people KNOW you are coming.

haha nice dude.

when I take off the rear section of my HKS, it exits right there as well. I like to take it off to mess with people. Then again, when I want to really be heard, I"ll just open the downpipe

you got a sound clip of yours rlinbatonrouge?

I'll try and get it tomorrow with some pics. I've been having some trouble uploading lately.

That's why mine is electric. Get it inspected closed and open it when I want. Plus, I did not want to stay that loud all the time. This way I don't piss my neighbors off when I go home.
