Normally I would recommend ACT or Clutch Masters, but seeing as how they don't make clutches for our cars, I really can't recommend them.

Neither does Exedy.....

or Centerforce.....

There is some info on SPEC clutches through this link.

I'm getting ready to replace mine as well, but I am looking at the lighted flywheel sold by saturnmotorsports.com and a stage 2 clutch to go with it.

How many miles do you have on your RL? I hope these things aren't going to be clutch eaters....I swear I'm going to get an EVO if this keeps up...

EVO's aren't quite what you would call 'low maintenance' either...

Check and see if Centerforce makes one that will work. That is one awesome clutch. Had one in my Supercharged Jeep. Never slipped, and I could burn the oversize tires easily.

I would also assume that ANYTHING that fits the Cobalt would work as well... CobaltSS that is...

Agree....The Center Force Gold (tri-plate ceramic clutch, with the heavy duty/racing pressure plate is awesome, however it is noisy as hell) and then decide if you want a light weight fly wheel or not. With the light weight fly wheel you spin up faster, but crusing takes more energy (heavier flywheel will "carry" itself around, requiring less energy to keep it at speed, lighter flywheel spins up faster due to low weight to get moving, but requires greater energy at speed to keep it there {things in motion tend to stay in motion, etc...})
