I was wondering if anyone else has this setup? I know that the magnaflow is 2.5in and I saw that you can get the ZZp header to have the 2.5 collector end. So i was thinking about trying this setup. Another thing is I was wondering since it is a longtube header, would it make the end of the exhaust stick far out past the bumper?

It will be loud with just a magnaflow muffler and res. If you don't care about being loud then it will be a good setup. Go with a Borla muffler for a nice aggressive sound without being too obnoxiously ricey.

So your saying the magnaflow catback system would be loud with that longtube header? Like a raspy loud or what? Are you talking about like cutting the magnaflow muffler off the magnaflow system and welding a borla muffler in its place?
no the zzp long tube doesn't make the stock exhaust stick out past the bumper, they shorten the dp to make up for the longer header. I ran that config until i could get my buddy to weld in my over the axle piece

So you had the zzp lt header, magnaflow catback setup? Did you like the sound, and could you tell a noticeable power difference? Also what do you mean by over the axle piece?thanks
A brand new magnaflow cat-back will sound nice and be quite for about 10,000 miles. Eventually the muffler will go to sh*t. That is why Mattman suggested the Borla as an option.
Either way, the ZZP Longtube is a great header. Make sure to get the cat'd version.
And a 2.5" cat-back is the perfect size for 95% of LSJs.

I have the long tube with the 2,5" 2 bolt flange straight from zzp, and its too long. I got it to bolt up, but the hangers are maxxed and it forces the catback into a wierd angle. Once I have a over the axle piece made I will have at least 1 1/2" taken out of that portion, allowing it to work as designed.
there were a few ZZP longtubes escaped the barn .75 inches too long on the downpipe. trim it back that 3/4 of an inch and u be good. They rectified this at least 4 months ago iirc.
LOUD. The Magnaflow doesnt hack it for noise attenuation, no rasp , but LOUD> sorry cant say more than that, I run LSJ muffler on an LNF catback, with my ZZP longtube header. I really like the ZZP piece and it compares very well to the CTI mid length. The ZZP fits way better for 02 sensors etc and the flex is better positioned than the other long tube header out there...
ZZP also fitted an LNF downpipe flange for me to suit my LNF catback at the same price...
