well honestly it shouldnt need a new bottom end.. its forged internals. i thought.. a top end would be awesome.. thats a little easier to do too. new cams and valve springs and raise our redline to 8000.. wouldnt that be sumthin.. lookin forward to find out what turbo they use, and what all the kit contains... im already savin for it now.. cant want to hear the whine of the eaton and the psst of the BOV.. itll be a sensory overload

I don't understand the need to twin-charge??? If you want more air flow or boost, why overcomplicate it? Wouldn't running a larger charger be more effective? Maybe use an M90 Eaton to replace the M62. Do that with a port and polished head and get some cams to flow better, and I'm sure you'd end up with plenty of power and still maintain a reliable daily driveable car.

Maybe someone could post some links to explain the benefits of twin-charging?

its the whole point of having both lol i think its cool because turbos are usually always better top end superchargers are always better low end so your gettign the best of both worlds

just think a mini cooper PSI made was running 11's from what i remember on there twin kit thats sick! this was just on there kit nothing, correct me if im wrong

One of the reasons that I like having a supercharger, is it generally doesn't create as much heat compared to a turbo. The idea of having a turbo to me seems to involve a lot more cooling of the intake charge and I believe the engine will also run hotter too. As well, having a turbo is a huge restriction on the exhaust side of the motor. If there were a kit that simply bolted on and nothing had to be changed from stock, I think that would be kinda cool.

I guess the idea just doesn't appeal to me because it seems overly complicated.
To each their own though.

I'm betting on a twin screw or a larger replacement roots blower will be seen in the not so distant future. Just give it some time.
