A 100cfm restriction sure sounds like a problem to me..

I am not sold on the zzp experiment. It doesn't appear to be a sufficiently sized intercooler. We have a roots style blower which are known for higher heat output than turbos, twin screw, or centrifugal super chargers (basically a belt driven turbo).

Small Liquid/Air Intercooler

Take a look at the link above. It is good for 350hp on a turbo. Look at the size. Core Size: 9.25"x3.5"x3.5" (Endtanks add to length)

What are the dimension of the zzp one? is it larger than 113 inches cubed?

I am not sure the amount of heat it creates more than a turbo but I would imagined more than 20% larger than a turbo intercooler.

From what I have seen, it flowed better but didn't cool any better, which, is to be expected.

considering a turbo swapped guy made almost 500 hp on it I would say its not the problem the head is more of the problem then the intake manifold

I wonder what it would have been on the a proper air to water setup.

no it was a stock head and the lsj has a properly setup air to water cooler it was only designed to support 250hp cooling wise

I am pretty sure I know the answer. A turbo merely because of the size and the temperature going to high, right? If they were having heat issues, as I assume they were, they did not have a large enough ic.

What pulley on the m62?

Now dammit John 6 months ago you were balls out for a higher flowing IM.

The gap between the IM's capabity and the flow of the head grows greatly with the setup a you and I will be running soon.

I still am balls out but from all the talking ive done with a people all leads back to the same answer its going to be extremely hard to beat what we have factory

now there was one person that made a new intake and it was supposed to be the berrys but I think he got banned on css it was omega5 but I think its going to be like some others ive talked to have said its going to come down to what you want the most airflow or temps with the room we have its going to be hard to get both
