so im being told by a buddy that the stock lnf clutch is basically the same thing as the gm performance clutch? hes willing to sell me his stock clutch with like 10000 miles on it for 60 bucks with everything but the TOB. if its basically the same im gunna jump on this but ive never heard the clutchs were basically the same. i know the TOB's are basically the same but not sure about the other. any and all help is welcome.
where does all this bs come from? The GMPP clutch cover is an LNF, by Sachs, way stronger than the stock LSJ cover, which is a cheap ass piece, self adjusting and with inadequate clamping force. Thats for starters.
And for 60 dollars u gonna spend all that time and money removing the trans to put this used weaksos cheap ass part in your car, so you can take the trans out shortly thereafter and put inthe good stuff?
I'm not sure I understand. John, are you saying the GMPP clutch is an LNF and is a POS ? Cuz tbandit420, I thot, was gettin a used one (LNF) for $60.00. Better still, what clutch DO you recommend for an 04 RL that's about to have stage II installed ?
might as well get a new LSJ flywheel too...do it all 1 time.
