Honestly this is the only thing that would make sense. I mean everything is bolted down and is tight I tried pulling up on the blower to see if there was any play but there is none.

I do however have a stupid question. Does it matter which hole the gasket guides go into? Can that have a effect on the blower sitting flushed? I have the gasket guide in the upper left where I'm having the map sensor issue and the bottom right. But again everything is bolted down tight.

Did you happen to take the intake manifold off? because I know there are 2 studs holding that on, and if the underside is hitting on the lower IM bolt or the stud isn't in very far, the nuts on the stud might not tighten far enough. I had this happen to me and it turned out because my lower IM bolt wasn't seated properly and then the whole IM didn't tighten right.

You know I did have an issue with the lower IM bolts to the point where they didn't fit back on the studs. So I ended up using two other nuts I had laying around that fit on the stud. But I still don't see how that would affect the relationship between the manifold and the blower.

You can take the IM completely off the car and the blower should still hold down the sensor just fine....

top left bottom right as you look at it should not fit any other way. check that something else is not hung up causing the blower not to seat. take it off, doesnt take long to find out....

uh oh....if the two lower IM studs are not screwed all the way into the head, they can maybe stick out enough to stop the blower from seating. check this out.

yea thats a good valid point I will try to take the blower back off and recheck it.

Ok I have another question I found out why the map wasn't sitting in properly the o ring came off and I didn't realize it. My question though is did you guys reuse the lower intake manifold bolts?
