Ideally. I left that out because that is the setup that Powell runs and the last time I left that out he got all pissy! lol
The largest overall restriction in the LSJ is the exhaust ports on the head. So if you free of that restriction it goes a long way.

Don't go crazy with these tiny pulleys. Just because one person had done it doesn't mean everyone can do it all day long. No one should go lower then a 2.7" pulley unless they have the means to constantly monitor and update their tune.
I have ran a 2.6" on the M62 but all it really does is ramp up the TQ a little faster under the curve. Peak HP is probably very similar to a 2.7" or maybe even a 2.8".
A 2.8" pulley maxes out the official efficiency rating of the M62 just before 7000rpms. So spinning the M62 past that makes it much less efficient.
