It was a few generations ago. 0TTP now uses an HE with air to air bar style fins which are not as good for cooling.

You know how these things go. ZZP and 0TTP are always looking for way to provided the "biggest" core as possible to make people feel like they are cool. But sometimes bigger is not always better.

The effectiveness of Front Mount Heat Exchangers is still up for debate. It is extremely difficult to scientifically test modifications to the SC cooling system because of the amount of variables which influence IAT1s and IAT2s.

All I know is that I wouldn't believe anyone who says they know all the answers.

IMHO, I believe that a FMHE ran in series with the stock HE is better then just the stock HE. The ZZP S3 is a nice peice but I think it is too large and you will have clearance issues with a lowered car.

If someone one forced me to install a FMHE on my car I would go with the CX Racing Dual pass. I enjoyed it the most.

I had the cobra h/e mod from a few years back. Didn't really see any IAT2 benefits. Removed it. I'm always about 25 - 30 degrees above ambient with the stock setup and my mods.

I like the CX Racing HE. Do you have to take the front part of the car off in order to install it? Is the hose coming off the top leading to an option b tank? If so, that looks to be much better than trying to work a fitting into the stock HE in the tight space

Yes with the way I mounted it on my car. It is not a bolt on solution for the LSJ. But there are different ways to mount it if you look at the one hawlyns711 has for sale.

Yes. I lead that line to the bleed port on the stock HE and then to the option b tank.
