Would that fit the Cobalt SS/SC? However with that kind of price......no way in hell am I going near that unless it gave an insane amount of hp gain like 50 hp to the wheels. It will probably only be around 15 hp for 900......

Werd, way too much $$$. There is more than the exhaust though isn't there, like tranny mounts and such that also come in the 'kit'?

yeah, it's a trans mount, "high flow" cat, and the header.

the high flow cat you can get for at most 100 bucks, and the mount is the same design I made myself for roughly 8 dollars if that.

mark-ups suck.

Hahahahahaha, chrome plated! 900 dollars! Holy frikin hell what a rip!

I'm sorry but even with a cat and trans mount that's way over priced. Chrome plating is a joke, chrome pating dose nothing to insulate the exhaust temps from the engine bay. If it were ceramic coated mabyee I would consider it but not for $900.

What was that song?

"I was going to make a header, till I got high!"
"I was going to make it cheep, till I got high"
"Now it cost $900 dollars, cause I got high"
"Cause I got high, cause I got high, cause I got high"

I just spoke to wes and before you all freak on the price think about the difference between the cheap $200 headers and the high dollar ones. 1. thick flanges to prevent warpage 2. cleaned out collector for flow (we all seen the result of scyne's) 3. includes cat (yes I know its only a hundred bucks but it adds up) 4. already has a down pipe making it a true BOLT on (If you ever do any auto work a true bolt on is hard to find it usually requires fab work. Not a prob for me but some of you may not have the facilities ) 5. its a true long header that will yeild the most result (needs to be proven still but generally true)

sorry to have written a book about it but with quality comes price. I know Wes fairly well and he does his homework so at least hold out till someone tries it. Which may be me the rl one will be ready in a month and hes going to get me set up.

I have no doubt it will make power bro, but you can't think we're totally nuts for scoffing at the price. You're totally right though, no one can knock it till we see results.
