We can't send our stock struts to Koni?

I was under the impression that we could send in our stock struts to Koni and have them gut them and tune them to Koni spec. However I received an e-mail from Koni that says they only do this for used Koni struts only. Am I missing something here? I thought this is what SPS did when they had them in stock and that was the reason for the core charge.

I want struts!!

I'm just gonna spend the money on wheels instead

it seems that by the time struts actually come out i'll have the money saved up again...

I really didn't wanna throw my Sprints on with stock struts but they're callin my name!

I just looked at the rear shocks today at SPS... I've never seen front ones before...

Wop, can you PLEASE GOD see if you can determine the origin, and the similarity of the Cobalt/Ion/Saab/Open suspension setup on these things. The SPS shocks come up as for the Opel Astra, maybe the Vectra, if you check them on Koni's site. Also, why can't we use Cobalt suspension, or can we?

SPS had Koni make struts for them. SPS finally sold out of them and decided at this time to not make anymore until there was a larger market for them. I called Koni directly and they verified this. I then asked them if I could drop my vehicle of since I live near one of there factories and have them design some struts for us and they told me to contact some guy in development. This guy has yet to call me back.

Well, it's odd that SPS had them make them, when the Koni part numbers can be looked up on Koni's site directly. Are we talking about front, or rears here? I've never seen the SPS ones that were offered for the front, and I've checked alot. The rear ones are still on the site and on Koni's site are for an Opel.

I was talking about the front ones that they use to have on there sight. I allready found that the Opel rear struts were the same as ours. I just want a full all out coil over for the beast with adjustable dampers and everything. I guess it doesnt matter now that Im selling the car.
