Smaller pulley than 2.8"

I am still running very rich with the Psi-Fi kit because of the altitude. Do you think I could run an even smaller pulley because I have so much excess fuel? And if I could, where could I buy the pulley? I can't remember what my afr is, but I have been known to shoot a little black smoke out my exhaust and have even gotten a little bit of fire out of the tail pipe. (So i'm told)

I thought the 2.8 was hitting pretty close to redline for the SC. I could be wrong though.

I wouldnt go any smaller.... that supercharger is really flying with that 2.8...I think you would definitely be risking it...

I don't know about the blower rpms, but I was thinking of going smaller as well. Of course if it is possible? Johnny Lightning performance has a 2.7' pulley for the m112, but I personally do not know if this will fit the m62? Anybody know

The blower pulley diamater is not a good way to compare what will and will not work since not every crank pulley is the same diamater. The Lightning for instance has a very large crank pulley compared to the RL, so they may need a smaller pulley to achieve a given rotor speed. That and the fords are 8 rib as I recall.

On a side note, I would not spin the blower any faster than the rotor speed that the 2.8 produces.

The crank pulley would have to be different, since the blower's max rpms go down as the size of the blower goes up. The M90 or M112 only has a 12,000 rpm top speed.

At some point you will go beyond the volumetric efficiency of the M62 blower.
