Sp00n's Goal for next Race Season:

Well, sitting around and doing some rule checking and such, I've figured out that I can do the following mods and remain in B-Prepared class for racing. I might move up to the B-Modified class, but then I have to spend alot of $$$ to do it. My current plans don't allow for me to get the Psi-Fi or the GM kits, if the come out. So I need to do some more thinking. I want to get one of them, but if the GM kits are gonna produce like the ones on TV, then there's no question about which one.

Anyway here's what I can run without getting into the crazier class.

K&N Typhoon (installed) 1pt
TOG Header 1pt
3" Cat-back exhaust 1pt
B&G Springs 2pts
My smaller pulley (which Im sort of cheating with by giving myself one point, but otherwise it's worth the same amount as the stage II flash on my 'friends' WRX, and I don't run the boost mod) 1pt

Free Stuff (No Points)
Falken 615's
Koni Adjustable Rear Shocks
Koni Front Struts (Please god someone make me front struts)
Stillen X-drilled/Slotted Rotors (I'm gonna give them a shot, I think my rotors are starting to warp finally)
Stock Pads (that's right, stock)
Stainless-Steel Brake Lines

Which leaves me with one point to spend, and I'm hoping my icebox dosen't get me above and beyond that. They'll think I have two points to spend though, due to the pulley. I think that should keep me in the B-prepared class. If it pushes me to the B-Mod class, then I'm gonna have to go farther to be competitive. I might just do it anyway. It's not as harsh as the race class is though. There are some fast cars in the Mod classes though.

I believe the springs, shocks and tires will benefit you the most and you already have the k&N.Power should not be a problem for you just using it correctly even without the headers and exhaust.I used to run a small course with a mg midget and it killed some more powerful cars because of the weight and handling.

Yea, and they really get you on the suspension mods. The springs are worth as much as a header back exhaust, or an engine swap!

The tires would make a HUGE difference. I'd like to stay in the stock class, but I can't 'not-spend' on the car all winter...
