idea but not sure if its all there

its sorta like your guy's ice box idea but smaller in porpotion. i was thinking what if you had a tube that would sit infront of the intake tube that when the air would pass thru/around/ inbetween (whatever ya call it) it will cool the air down. BUT this is the main point. it does use dry ice but in alot more confinded of an area and the air actuall flows over the metal before completely entering the intake.

does any of that make sense? would it work like that? im just thinking of sizing down the appliciation that yall got for the ice box idea and making it cheap for people with little money and also take less ice and weighs less.

ehhhhhhh sort of but not exactly. more of like a holder for the dry ice that will not enter the intake but will basicly freeze the tubing so the surrounding air entering the intake tubing will get colder. make sense

if anyone steals this idea and makes money i claim a profit off this too

I say there isn't much point in Cooling pre-blower though it might help a little.

good idea. Heres is the downfalls. The intercooler we have now is between the supercharger and the head. Heres where your idea doesnt pay off. You cool the air to say 50 degrees. It travels through the supercharger picks up some heat then through the intercooler thats 100 degrees. How much did your cold air affect?

i was just trying to think of something that could be cheap and at least somewhat effective enough that $ to cooling is good enough. just 2cents floating around

the intake temps are already almost ambient. like goofy says, they'll heat back up into the intercooler. the ice box is going to be the last way to cool before the combustion chambers, and that's where it amtters

If the air going into the super charger was colder it would be more dense. thus it would be more air when heated back up, right? If so then it would work in a way.
