Thumbs up K&N CAI Installed!

Thanks to everyone how gave me input on how to install my CAI. It went smoothly, but took longer than I expected. I had an awful time loosening the hose clamp at the bottom of the airbox. I probably wasted an hour taking that off. I couldn't get any tool in there to loosen the bolt, so I finally just used my fingers! I did have two concerns...#1 The 90 degree bracket DID NOT align with the airbox screw holes, so it isn't attached at the top...#2 what is the extra 4" black hose used for that I have left over? Other than that...I love it! The whine of the S/C is awesome and I can tell there is a difference in power...unfortunately the air filter I removed must have be the original one from the factory (21,500 miles) because it was absolutely FILTHY...I was already very restricted due to the build up. No CELS yet! I also got my new "Supercharged" emblem put on...I'll post pictures early in the week of all my visual mods.

P.S. A special thanks to whoever suggested removing the headlight...that made the installation much easier!

you can get that bracket to align but you'll have to losen it from the throttle body and from the bottom and just turn it put the screw in but don't tighten it tighten everything else then tighten that screw.... and i can't remember off the top of my head the rubber hose

That 4" hose is supposed to go on the breather hose. They tell you to pull out the plastic tube that connects the breather to the original intake hose and then add that 4" piece to it. Mine reached just fine, so it never got put on there.
