possibility of 2.3 saab heads

has anyone looked into doing a hybrid with the 2.0 and the saab 2.3 heads? from what i've read they flow much better than the 2.0 saab head (which we have now) and they've been around for a while so the cams and valve market is already there.

i talked with some of the guys form the saab forums, they said they wouldn't work. it was only specific models that would work on them, and the biggest difference was that their older 2.0 heads had smaller intake ports and valves, so people were switching over to the 2.3 . most of them said it wouldn't work on our applications, because their were some differences.
