Low cost 3.3" drop-in high flow air filter ...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RTEC-...QQcmdZViewItem

Pretty damn sure it will fit in the stock airbox ... for those who still want some blower whiiiiiiiine ...

According to a technical article I read on the Kenne Bell website, a 75 mm diameter intake is good to flow up to 450 HP.

I think the most restrictive part on air intake is the filter element itself, asuming that the stock intake tubing is roughly 3" in diameter.

In my point a view, replacing only the filter will give roughly the same result than upgrading to a cold air intake. Don't need to say that both one must be tuned to achieve good gains.

Have a nice week end !!!

I would've agreed with you, until I went ahead and removed my airbox. I think if you removed the snorking, it'll get the s/c whine. The damn tubing goes all the way up by the headlight, and the opening is tiny.

Dunno what to say about the filter. The $24.99 one from autozone worked fine.

I'm more interested in CAI vs. short ram. I can feel a butt dyno dif. w/ the short ram. But if you leave the stock snorkle and airbox in, you won't hear/feel much difference, IMHO.
