"May not be suitable on engines equipped with distributorless or coil on plug ignition systems due to the lack of a suitable tach signal."<--Right out of the article.
I think it would take a lot of work to make that work. I could be wrong though.

Why would you want that? Why add a piggy back and tune for larger injectors for the same price.

Aahah I actually don't want to buy this ! I just wanted to show you guys some interesting stuff. About the RPM signal, I think there is something (cheap) you can buy to get the RPM signal, the SRT guys do that when installing an Apexi S-AFC II ...

If I was going to add 4 supplementary injectors (for ridiculous boost or a 125+ shot or something) I would just use a Megasquirt.
$200 beans and your Squirtn'

Yeah I made a post asking about MS being used on RL if anyone has thought about it and no one has really responded. But the MS un it is a really great unit, there are turbocharged saturns SC's and Sl's using MS and putting down 300 whp with out any spark controle.

I was just curious if the MS unit could be used as a cheaper alternative to other piggy back systems out there for the RL.

less if you find a cheaper woman.....

what would the point be to adding extra injectors, they make up to like 75lb/hr injectors (albeit wrong impedences requires a standalone)? just tune your shit right and you'd be golden, unless your running like 40psi.. then i can see the need for 8 injectors....

Sounds like you've never tuned "75 pounders"
It's No problem tuning the for max HP (assuming you have enough HP to support the 75pph delivery) The real problem is startup, idle and light throttle...
(even triggering the injectors at the shortest base pulse width possible - it's WAY too much fuel) So a power enrichment system like staged injectors can be set up to provide a real Dr. Jekyll - Mr Hyde effect.

But "staged" injection is usually only used in drag racing setups.Staged injection systems (like that used on the Megasquirt) can allow smaller injectors to be used initially to insure idle, light load staging rpm and a controlled launch, but has the ability to instantly add +100% enrichment for max output, usually timed with a nitrous shot or when rediculous boost levels are reached.

It's the main reason that HUGE GMPP "Turbo" ECOTEC intake manifold is already set up for 8 injectors and twin fuel rails.

the powerpaq can control up to 6 extra injectors and do so 3 dimensionally with a clean RPM signal, map sensor and tps. the loop tune which is already enabled on the pulley kit can keep your air fuels in check at part throttle as well.

anyone saying hell just throw some 750's on this engine management system has obviuosly not tried to do so as you'd get a nice big CE light staring back at you when the car throws idle/part throttle air flow deviation codes, as well as 02 bank 1 rich codes.
