Suspension

Does anyone have any detailed suspension stats? Like what kinda springs are we using, shocks, all that good stuff. I'd like to know what is worth looking to upgrades for. I mean, if I basically have an incredibly high quality set up, how much of an upgrade will I get for swapping out my springs with a set of $400 Eibach springs. With the way it rides and handles now, I'm not sure that it needs much, if any, work.

Strut Bar

I know there is already a strut bar available, and I think springs, but the springs might be for the regular Ion. I know SPS has at least the strut bar for the Redline.

im not sure about the 04 RL's, but i know the 05 models come with a front strut brace already..

and if this car was built for the race track, why even touch the suspension? it handles like a dream the way it is...but thats just my opinion :P

No strut bar

I have an '05 in the driveway, well, it's in the shop already but that's a different story. Anyway, there is no strut bar across the top. Someone posted on here talking about a lower brace of some sort, could that be what you're refering to?

i'm talking about spring/strut combo, not strut brace, it's pretty ineffective on our cars, we could use one that bolts to the engine to help keep wheel hop down, and to take load off of the motor mounts, i'm working on that one for myself though, i want a complete spring/strut swaybar setup from eibach like they do with mustangs and the like, our suspension might be good,, but it can always get better

if its still streetalbe, which it is, that means you can always get better. The stock damper rates are good, but could be ALOT higher, and then have better spring rates to match. The suspension has give and masks hitting small potholes, therefore it has room for improvement
