Help, I broke something

I installed my pulley last night When I was taking off the throttle body, i got impatient with the black hose that comes off the side off it. I tried pulling it off the selenoid that it was attached to and I broke the nipple off. The broken part is the white thing in the picture just to the left of the bypass selenoid marked in green. Anyone know what this is or what it does? The car threw a code which Im sure this is the cause of.

Why were you taking off the TB i thought you could leave the SC in the car and do the pulley swap?

The pulley puller that came with my pulley could pull the wheels off a tank. It was slightly overbuilt. There was no way it would fit around the s/c snout without taking the s/c off. It make quick work taking the stock pulley off, though.

I pulled it out of your bypass mod thread

I want to order this part online so I don't alert the dealership, but I cant find any diagrams to help me figure out what it is. I was thinking I could just bring in the part and tell them I broke it while trying to get the oil filter out. Seems plausible to me.

depending on how much force it actually took to break, that could be a plausible excuse.

Could have had a small crak from the factory....you bumped it and it broke off sounds good to me.

The car was cold and it was 20 degrees outside. Thos vacume lines were hard and the plastic was brittle. Honestly, I was wrestling with that clip trying to figure out how it came off when it just snapped. All the clips on this car are like little puzzles. Once you figure them out, they're easy, but it really seems like each one is different.
