You'll wear out the supercharger in 10k miles easy closer you get to 2.0. I wouldn't want to get that low, it would look kind of stupid as well. You need an adjustable tensioner to get that low and maybe a smaller belt if they make it (which I don't think gm does)

I have a couple of questions on pulley swaps.
I have a gmpp stage 2 kit, will a 2.9 pulley be okay to run with that?
What kind of controllers do you guys suggest if you want to go down to a 2.6 pulley? Thanks

hey,welcome to the forum!,if you have the standard injectors with the stage 2 i wouldnt go any smaller than a 2.8 pulley[actually a lot of folks on here say that a 2.9 is safer],any smaller and you need to go with 60 pound injectors and you will also need a tune !..read /search the posts on here!..there is a ton of info available...good luck..colm.
