I/H/E + PSi-Fi Pulley Kit Air/Fuel Ratio?

I have a WR intake,Custom Mandrel 2.5" exhaust with Hooker max flow, and a 2.8" pulley right now.

I'm putting on my PSi-Fi tuned powerpaq in the next couple of days and Weapon-R is giving me my race header in less than 3 weeks.

With everything on, do you think i'm going to be running DANGEROUSLY lean? Mind you i'm in California and can only get 91 octane.

With a very well flowing WR intake an a good header, also with a 2,8" pulley, man play safe and get your air fuel ratio measured, unless it might go up to 14 or more at WOT; dont' forget the 34,2 lb/hr injectors are too small for sure, for sure and for sure again.

Damn what way can I solve the fuel needs with the powerpaq and my setup jmc007?

Can I get new injectors? New injectors + MAF translator? Water/Alky Injection? Any of these with the combination of the powerpaq tuned by PSi-Fi.

I want to get the new intense setup or GM setup but I have this PSi-Fi powerpaq just sitting here and I dont want to waste it..

JMC007 you have the most experience here playing around with different injectors and maf signal manipulators that will answer questions..

What do you recommend I do?

Firstly, you can't anymore get anything out of your stock too small injectors. Perrrrrriod. They are already around 90% of their max duty cycle when the car is totally stock !!! So you're sure you will need bigger injectors to put down more power. FYI, you can just buy 4 Lucas 42 lb/hr injectors (along with the connectors) as they are are available either from Intense or by many vendors on the Internet ...

FYI, the Perfect Power SMT-6D piggyback (powerpack) that YOU have is a VERYYY good tuning product. It can tune mostly any engine and adjust virtually any engine parameters. Way more than only a MAF translator. But the fact is that you need the software (a developper kit) to have the fully access inside of it. It is not simple as pushing some tuning buttons on the outside of the box. The PCM codes must be known also to get the max out of it. But atleast you can use it to tune some parameters, as PSI-FI did with this very item they sold you and other LSJ owners.

At my point of view and according to what I've read and seen on the LSJ, (without the PCM codes and with the tricky PCM setting) the powerpack you have will not get more HP than a MAF tuner. You're choice is to get in touch whot a speed shop who knows this very model and can tune it for you, or sell it on the internet, since it's probably selling for a couple of hundreds of dollars, if not more.

(I don't know what the D in the SMT-6D name stands for, but just ask them).

In the kit you purchased from PSI-FI kit, this piggyback has been tuned to get the maximum HP from the stock injectors, but not more.

Finding a speed shop to tune the powerpack w/ new injectors sounds very expensive and I don't think I can handle that...

The intense setup sounds good for my needs because i'm always adding things and could use the adjustability.

Selling the Powerpack is what may happen..

Thank you for your advice JMC007.

BTW, what about water injection? Do you think that could solve my detonation woes w/ PSi-Fi Kit I/H/E?

Running with 91 octane isn't enough for this boost pressure ! As you see, running as high of a boost (17 PSI or so) tends to make the air fuel mixture detonates. As for the water injection, I didn't experiment any of these kit yet. Maybe in the summer ...
