FYI - I checked my stock plugs today and they are NGK PFR6T 10G. I have an 07 BTW. Here's the link.

It concerns me because it's a double platinum plug listed in the Premium Class where as the BKR7E is a copper plug listed in the Regular Class. Any comments?

The PFR6T-10G is a fine wire high ignitability plug. Going to a BKR6E, BKR7E NICKEL plug is a slight down grade. For these cars I would suggest the iridium IX series as a replacement.

BKR6EIX-11 (.044 gap)
BKR6EIX (.032 gap)

BKR7EIX .032
BKR7EIX-11 .044

BKR8EIX .032

BKR9EIX .032

With the 2 different gaps use whichever plug is closest to the final set gap you will be running. Also be sure not to apply any pressure to the fine wire central electrode. The gap should be changed by pushing or pulling on the ground electrode only.

Also keep in mind you do not want to change the gap more than .008 from the factory set gap
